Privacy Policy

Clubs use Playher to coach their players. The club decides what information it records about its players and why, and is responsible for it. Playher holds and processes that information on the club's behalf.

About coaches and club staff: name, email address, and role in the club.

About players: first name, age group, positions, and what coaches record at matches and training. That includes ratings, mood and energy, notes the coach writes or dictates, and availability, including injuries and illness.

Where a club chooses to, it can also record a player photo, and health information such as medical conditions, allergies and emergency contacts. Within the app, health information can only be seen by club owners, club admins and the club's safeguarding officer.

Most players are children. Clubs record parental consent in Playher. A parent or guardian can withdraw consent at any time by telling the club or emailing us. When consent is withdrawn, contact us and we will delete the player's data. Deletion is not yet automatic when consent is withdrawn.

A parent or guardian can ask to see, correct or delete a player's data at any time by contacting the club or emailing privacy@playher.eu. We respond within one month.

Player records are kept while the player is on a team in the app. We are putting automatic deletion of inactive records in place. Until it is running, we delete records when a club, parent or guardian asks us to.

Playher uses AI to write coaching suggestions and player reports. To do this, it sends the AI provider a player's first name and age group together with the coaching information about them described above, including mood, coach notes, and injury and availability information. Email addresses and phone numbers are removed from coach notes before they are sent. We are working to reduce what each feature sends to the minimum it needs.

Some features use voice. Spoken recordings are sent to a speech-to-text service to be written down, and text can be sent to a text-to-speech service to be read aloud.

We never sell player or coach data, and we never share it with advertisers or data brokers.

These companies process data for us so that Playher can run:

• Supabase — database and sign-in
• Lovable — hosting, email delivery, and the gateway that passes AI and speech-to-text requests to Anthropic and OpenAI
• Cloudflare — the network that serves the app
• Anthropic — AI coaching suggestions and reports
• OpenAI — speech-to-text, through Lovable
• ElevenLabs — text-to-speech
• Google — web fonts

Some of these providers process data outside the European Union. We are confirming the safeguards in place for each one and will set them out here.
