What we collect

We collect the minimum information needed to help coaches develop their players: coach names and email addresses, player first names, age groups, and performance observations recorded during matches and training.

We do not collect player surnames, photos, addresses, or contact details.

Lawful basis

We process this data on the basis of legitimate interest — specifically, the coaching and development of youth sports players. For players under 16, this is conditional on documented parental consent.

Children's data

Playher is designed around the safety of underage athletes. Parental consent is required before any player data is stored. Consent records are kept alongside the player record and can be withdrawn at any time. Withdrawal results in immediate deletion.

Right to erasure

Any parent or guardian can request deletion of a player's data at any time by emailing privacy@playher.eu. We action erasure requests within 30 days.

Retention

Active player records are retained for as long as the player remains on a team in the app. Inactive players are automatically deleted after 2 years of no recorded activity.

AI processing

Playher uses AI to generate coaching advice. Only a player's first name and age group are sent to the AI provider — never in combination with any other identifying information. The AI cannot identify a specific real-world child from what it receives.

No selling or sharing

We never sell player or coach data. We never share it with advertisers, data brokers, or any third party outside of the processors named below.

Data processors

Anthropic processes AI inference requests under their Data Processing Addendum. Only minimal, non-identifying data is sent, and Anthropic does not use this data to train models.
